Nicholas Hamilton

I am a Chartered Financial Planner and a Director of Forvis Mazars, responsible for leading our independent financial planning team based in Milton Keynes. I have obtained Fellowship of the Personal Finance Society and am a member of the Society of Later Life Advisers, recognition of my knowledge and technical capability, as well as my ongoing commitment to professional development, particularly in supporting the needs of clients in later life.

By listening to the needs of my clients and encouraging thought provoking discussions regarding their financial and lifestyle objectives, I develop tailored financial planning strategies aligned to their goals.

I am a strong advocate of lifetime cashflow modelling and believe that everyone should have a financial plan regardless of their financial position or circumstances. For me, financial planning isn’t about setting up investments or establishing products, it’s about understanding what my clients want to achieve – their motivations, worries and longer-term plans – and putting together a robust and flexible goals-based plan that can adapt to their changing needs over time.

I have a particular passion, interest and expertise in supporting clients with their estate planning needs as well as planning associated with care costs.
